The floor area had to be raised above road level (approx 40cm) and the roof was raised in line with the neighbouring house.
New window holes were knocked through and a completely new concrete first floor was added.

The retired couple who financed this project and lived in the house for the last three years are now selling this beautifully furnished one bedroomed property. See Property for sale.

Our neighbour had only used two rooms out of the four. Two had stayed shut for many years.

Now that all four rooms have been fully modernised and the roof has been made safe and watertight, this is a spacious property full of character.

AFTER
He purchased an Istrian stone house with an adjoining stone barn ruin on a large plot of land.
He wishes to keep the stone house for his own use and so we started by taking the house back to just the stone walls in order to make strong concrete floors and to raise the roof height.
THE OLD STONE HOUSE BEFORE
Building permission has been sought for re-building the stone property and for two four bedroomed properties with swimming pools to be built on the land.
These two new high class properties will be built this year and are currently for sale.
